Doug Canfield

Artist Statment

Doug Canfield’s work focuses on the subject of color, its infinite possibility in a painting’s formation and its active interplay within the painting space and the viewer. Doug is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Hunter College and is a recipient of the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant. He lives and works in New York City.
