Lois Eby

Artist Biography

Lois Eby’s work has roots in Asian ink painting, improvised music, and Western abstraction. Her paintings are in a variety of public and private collections, including The Vermont State Art Collection, and are featured on two CDs from AUM Fidelity of Brooklyn, NY. In collaboration with William Parker, bassist and composer based in New York, and David Budbill, poet based in Vermont, she has created a DVD of her ink drawings and paintings to accompany compositions for a string quartet to be performed with poems and images. She is represented by West Branch Gallery & Sculpture Park of Stowe, Vermont.
