Lainard Bush
Lainard Bush has a BFA Magna Cum Laude at Kent State University and a MFA from The San Francisco Art Institute. He has exhibited work nationally in galleries and museums. Bush’s grid-based work evokes comparisons to frames of film, satellite images, or superstructures which a partially visible world exists.
“My paintings are a kind of alchemy: I combine elemental, formal aspects of abstraction, which includes experimenting, inventing, exploring and exercising my powers of observation and analysis. My work has a kinship with the tradition sacred geometry, in which process creates expression to the infinite beauty and mystery of being.”
