“This work is simultaneously an exploration of organic forms inspired by nature, as well as an investigation of formal issues (color, shape, composition). Botanical forms, topographical lines, maps, calligraphy, underwater scenes, and geometric forms inspire the imagery as does the sensation of weather, the passage of time and ephemerality.”
