Suzanne Laura Kammin

Suzanne Laura Kammin was born in New York City and grew up in Manhattan and Toronto, Canada.  She received her BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute.  Suzanne was also a visiting student at the National College or Art and Design in Dublin Ireland while an undergraduate and studied painting in the graduate program in fine arts at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.  She is a two time recipient of a grant from the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation and has had her paintings and drawings exhibited in galleries and art institutions both nationally and in Canada.  Suzanne has served for thirteen years as an assistant professor of painting and drawing at Parsons School of Design.  She also serves as a lecturer in art at Caldwell College, teaches painting at the Yard School of Art at the Montclair Art Museum and runs her own art school, Left Bank Studio School, out of her loft in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey.
