CURATORIAL OPPORTUNITIES
The Painting Center is accepting submissions from curators interested in presenting curated exhibitions.
With a long-standing history of presenting significant works from both past and contemporary practices, The Painting Center is dedicated to exhibiting thought-provoking and innovative thesis exhibitions focused on visual arts, artists, and art-making practices. We welcome proposals from curators who seek to engage critical ideas and present compelling exhibitions that reflect diverse perspectives and approaches.
As a gallery recognized for offering an alternative voice within the art community, The Painting Center supports curators in realizing innovative exhibitions that showcase the work of diverse artists. Exhibitions at The Painting Center often receive critical attention and visibility within the Chelsea art scene, contributing meaningfully to contemporary discourse.
In addition to their public impact, these exhibitions serve as educational resources for students and the broader public. We strongly encourage curators and artists to use our space to examine unique ideas about painting and a wide range of other media.
