AS IF MY LIFE WERE SHAVEN AND FITTED TO A FRAME III, 2016

Acrylic, collage, pencil, pastel; 16" x 12"

Robin is a self-taught artist living by the sea in Rockport, Massachusetts. She is a member of several established art organizations, including the National Association of Women Artists and the Copley Society of Artists. She maintains a studio in Gloucester Massachusetts and exhibits regularly both locally and nationally.

“Combining painting and collage, I build environments where chaos gives way to order through pattern, color and theme. Bits and pieces of collage material – a ticket, a snippet of a photo, metal widgets, create touch points for a possible narrative. Emily Dickinson poetry is the inspiration for these works.”
