Alix Bailey
Alix Bailey is a figurative painter who works mainly from close observation in her home studio. The figures are not meant to be portraits nor are they merely vessels serving the greater whole although both of these things can be true. The figures play a part in the enigmatic world of the painting which is inspired by her surroundings, natural light, and the history of art but is not aimed at reality.
