Kirstine Reiner Hansen
Danish-born artist Kirstine Reiner Hansen has exhibited her work in the US and Europe, most recently at Jack Fischer Gallery, San Francisco. She received the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Grant and was twice a Smithsonian Outwin semi-finalist. Her work appears in the book Disrupted Realism (2019) by John Seed.
My work explores the search for beauty and calm within the chaos of modern life. Using glitch-like forms within fragmented landscapes, I reflect on sensory overload, environmental disruption, and the fragile coexistence of beauty and decay in a world shaped by both nature and human impact.
