SUSAN HOFFER
Susan received her MFA in Visual Arts from Northern Vermont University (Johnson State Campus). She lives and works in upstate NY and her paintings are in the permanent collections of the Albany Institute of History and Art, Albany, NY, and the Adirondack Experience Museum, Blue Mountain Lake, NY.
"Universal themes in narrative art are never far from my mind as I look through a feminist lens at weighty contemporary issues. In our vastly complex society, I use the empathetic treatment of the human form and story and the materiality of paint texture to evoke our common humanity."
