Lipan, an Associate Teaching Professor of Art at Northern Arizona University, has exhibited at the Tucson Museum of Art, Bristol Art Museum, Indianapolis Arts Center, Women Made Gallery, Chicago, and various national venues, including The Painting Center, Blue Mountain, First Street Gallery and multiple university galleries across the U.S.

Tai Lipan's work envisions concealed worlds beneath monumental landscapes, where underworlds, passage, and prophecy converge. Layered compositions guide viewers through ruins, resting places, and imagined dwellings carved into rock. These subterranean sanctuaries cast the earth as protector, reflecting on humanity's intrusion and the fragile transformation of sacred spaces.
