APRIL HAMMOCK
April has exhibited artworks internationally, nationally, and in her home state of Louisiana. She is an Instructor for the Gifted and Talented Program in Baton Rouge, LA. Recent exhibitions include: Patterns of Vision, Baton Rouge Gallery, Summer Guild Exhibition, Silvermine Galleries, New Canaan, CT., and Electron Salon, LACDA, Los Angeles, CA.
Human behavior, social currency, identity, and familiar habitats are themes that I'm contemplating when working with this series of works. Improvised terrains and animated imagery characterize these.
