Heide Follin is a contemporary abstract painter living and working in Connecticut. She actively shows her work, is a graduate of '75 School of the Worcester Art Museum followed by many years of advanced studies, workshops and residencies. In March 2025, she had a solo exhibition at Silvermine Galleries in New Canaan, CT and was one of 6 artists exhibiting in Biophilia at the Flinn Gallery in Greenwich, CT.

I transform inspiration from nature into lyrical organic abstraction. Working in the fluid space between control and the need to be free, my paintings burst from the bounds of the specific to reveal patterns and new worlds to explore.
