Reba Kittredge Tyson is a Brooklyn based painter. She received her BFA from New York University. Her work has been featured in the publication New American Paintings Issue #146 and in group shows at Field Projects, Ground Floor Gallery, The Java Project, and IA & A at Hillyer.

“These paintings respond to the absurdity of depending on your mind to protect your physical form. Your brain registers pain to keep you from hurting yourself. But you often forget and repeat your mistakes. The paintings remember the pain and memorialize it, celebrating the body's ability to survive and rebuild.”
