Lisa Tubach
Lisa Tubach’s creative work has been exhibited in over 70 exhibitions throughout the U.S. and internationally in Australia, France, Japan, Peru, Scotland, Suriname and Togo via the Art-in-Embassies Program and other exhibition opportunities. Recent artist residencies include invitations to the Vermont Studio Center and Cill Rialiag (Ireland, Summer 2027).
My work investigates the aquatic biome via connection and dichotomy: marine and terrestrial, macro and micro, health and illness. The paintings explore spaces and details that are difficult to access or hidden from view; they are inspired by scientific field work volunteerism with conservationists of sharks, coral and other species.
