Laura Perry
Laura Perry is a painter and mixed media artist based in NYC. She received her MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston in 1999. She has also been a practicing licensed Acupuncturist since 2011.
“My work explores the abstract essence of a remembered landscape with mark-making to reveal the particulars of an imagined terrain. Layers of repetitive marks construct form and create a specificity of space. The image is about the transitory – the poetry of a place at a given moment in time.”
