Lois Eby’s work has roots in Western abstraction, Asian ink painting, and improvised music. Thus, she focuses on rhythmic vitality, empty spaces, and color in her work. Her paintings are in public and private collections, including The Vermont State Art Collection and SUNY Adirondack Art Collection.
Her life and work are featured in a book of interviews by William Parker with four women artists published in 2014 by Centering Music, New York. Her work can be seen at West Branch Gallery & Sculpture Park, Stowe, Vermont.
