Mary Powers-Holt is a painter who lives and works in Chester County, PA. She studied visual arts at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She earned a Four-year certificate and BFA through the Academy and the University of Pennsylvania's coordinated degree program. She exhibited solo in 2024 at Cerulean Arts Gallery in Philadelphia as a Collective member and in the two-person exhibition "Just A Moment" curated by Inliquid and installed at Wanamaker House in Philadelphia.
I am inspired by patterns in nature and atmospheric colors in the sky. My paintings describe a solitary discovery of place and how the same view is modified with repeated observation and captures the passage of time.
