Laurey Bennett-Levy
Laurey Bennett-Levy is an abstract artist practicing in both LA & NY. She earned a BA in Fine Arts at S.U.N.Y Albany where she studied painting. Bennett-Levy has shown in extensive juried shows. Her unique assemblage merges her competence of graphic design and fine artistry.
I wander and photograph. The accumulation of these images becomes the DNA of my emotional and physical experience and is the foundation of my work allowing for momentary flashes to nascent spaces to repair my deficient memory. Eventually this documentation takes on new life as I reduce and redefine ordinary markers of existence.
