Sarah Canfield is a multidisciplinary artist exhibiting extensively in solo and group exhibitions throughout the northeast. She holds a BFA from Alfred University and is a recipient of a 2022 Fellowship in Painting from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
My work blurs boundaries between painting and digital photography to create visual environments that reverberate between reality and illusion. Layered and transparent images merge to create an illusion of deep space. Organic shapes juxtaposed with electronic objects are a means to investigate the intrusion of technology into the natural world.
